Official Sesame Street Elmo Pyjamas. Elmo is one of Jim Henson's Muppet characters, from the 1970s American TV series Sesame Street. This big red furry puppet character, a slightly later addition to the show, quickly developed a major role in the series. Elmo is always cheerful - a bit of a giggler and remains one of the most popular characters from the show.
