Official Strawberry Shortcake T-shirt. Raspberry Tart was one of a range of characters in the Strawberry Shortcake range, all with dessert-based names. The original Strawberry Shorcake character was designed in 1977 by Muriel Fahrion and Raspberry Tart appeared in 1980. Like many of the characters Raspberry Tart was developed into a doll with hair that smelled like her name.
